September is National Sickle Cell Awareness Month. Jambo Books is proud and honored to be partnered with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) and the AFLAC Cancer and Blood Disorders Center to support their Literacy is Health program!
CHOA and AFLAC will be offering free Jambo Books to their patients at doctor’s visits and providing the patients with a special QR code to allow them to see their favorite medical caregivers reading the books to them.
As a part of our partnership, our JambArt boxes this month are decorated with a winning design by a sickle cell patient. She drew her best day and we think she did a great job.
